Magoosh's Quick Practice feature lets students complete a focused set of 10 practice questions in 5–7 minutes — making it ideal for bellringer activities, the short daily warm-up sessions teachers run at the start of class.
What Are Bellringers?
Bellringers (also called warm-ups or do-nows) are short activities students complete at the start of class. Using Magoosh for bellringers:
- Gets students immediately engaged
- Provides consistent daily practice
- Builds skills incrementally over time
- Requires no teacher preparation
How Students Access Quick Practice
- Students log into their Magoosh dashboard
- On the homepage, locate the My Performance section
- Click the Practice button below any section
- Complete a set of 10 practice questions

- Set clear expectations on the first day
- Quick Practice takes about 5-7 minutes for 10 questions
- Encourage students to spend time reviewing mistakes after each question they get wrong
- Perfect for the start of class while taking attendance

Tracking Bellringer Completion
On your instructor portal:
